Last-minute Halloween Costumes for Men with Beards

If you have a long Garibaldi you’re all set. If not – here is how to trim a longer beard into the Garibaldi style. Other items you will need: a stick, pointed hat, a long bathrobe and extra points for arriving in a puff of smoke. 

Coach Lasso – You might need to shave for this one – go down to a Chevron Mustache. And pull together a light blue polo shirt, khaki pants, whistle. (White visor optional.) You could also add a “Believe” sign (yellow sign, blue lettering and tape).  

For Coach Beard – A great costume if you’re sporting a Full Beard. Simply add a blue tracksuit, whistle, reflective sport sunglasses and a standoffish demeanor.

Great news for the guy with a longer goatee, or a man ready to shave for the cause. Start with a Sparrow Goatee, add a striped, long-sleeve tee, black waist coat, jeans and biker boots, accessorize with a red scarf for a belt and a red bandana. Extra points for an eye patch, gold chains, black eyeliner and a poor English accent.   

If you’re a guy with a Ducktail Beard, you may already be giving Viking vibes. To conquer this look quickly, you need a tunic top, cinched with a giant leather belt, long boots and fur cuffs and cape (and we’re looking at you, faux fur rug). Accessorize with an axe or wooden staff of your choosing.  

Another idea that involves a Ducktail Beard: your good, old-fashioned lumberjack. Easy. Wear jeans, white tee, suspenders and a flannel shirt. Grab an axe and a log – and you’re good to go. 

So simple for the guy with the Horseshoe Mustache. Simply dig out your flashiest shirt, grab a stuffed tiger and you’re ready to roll.

Got an Olde English Beard? Great news! Add a brown wig, a light-blue button up shirt and an artist’s palette. Your partner can dress as a tree.

You can do this in three accessories – a black pork pie hat, sunglasses and a full goatee. If the hat is a no-go, consider a hazmat suit and chemistry accessories and use your hair clippers to buzz your hair.
