On Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2025, hundreds of homeless and at-risk veterans gathered for the Southeastern Michigan Veterans Stand Down Event. Wahl® parked its mobile barbershop at the event, and for every FREE haircut or beard trim donated $100 to support the charity. Detroit native and NBA Hall of Famer, Chris Webber was also in attendance to engage with the veterans.
On Sunday, Sept. 8, 2024, the Wahl® Mobile Barbershop gave Kansas City Public School students free haircuts, and Kansas City football star Justin Reid did a special book reading. It was all to celebrate International Literacy Day and support the 'Books and Barbers' program, which provides free haircuts, books, and mentorship.
