BY ENTERING THE SWEEPSTAKES, ENTRANTS AGREE TO THESE OFFICIAL RULES, WHICH CREATE A BINDING CONTRACT, SO READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE ENTERING. WITHOUT LIMITATION, SUCH CONTRACT INCLUDES GRANTS OF RIGHTS AND INDEMNITIES TO THE SWEEPSTAKES ENTITITES FROM YOU AND A LIMITATION OF YOUR RIGHTS AND REMEDIES AS WELL AS A CLASS ACTION WAIVER.

SWEEPSTAKES Period: The Wahl Style Selector Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) begins February 5, 2024 at 12:00:01 AM Central Time (“CT”) and ends March 10, 2024 at 11:59:59 PM CT (“Sweepstakes Period”). The Sweepstakes Period will be divided into five weekly entry periods, each an “Entry Period.” Each Entry Period will begin on Monday at 12:00:01 AM CT and end the following Sunday at 11:59:59 PM CT.

ELIGIBILITY: Entrants must be 18 years of age or older or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is older, at time of entry and be legal residents of one of the 50 United States or the District of Columbia. This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law. Employees, officers, and directors of WAHL Clipper Corporation (“Sponsor”) and its parent company, affiliates or subsidiaries, advertising agencies, promotional agencies, and any other individual or company involved in the development, promotion, or execution of the Sweepstakes, and members of those employees’ immediate families (spouse and parent, children and siblings, and their respective spouses and children, regardless of where they reside), and persons living in the same household (whether or not related) of such employees are ineligible to enter or win. Sponsor will determine in its sole discretion whether a potential entrant meets the eligibility requirements. By participating, entrant agrees to these Official Rules, and the decisions of the Sponsor and/or its independent judges, which are final and binding in all respects.

HOW TO ENTER: Wahl is launching the brand new “Style Selector,” an AI-powered virtual try-on experience that allows users to test different hairstyles and facial hairstyles on an avatar-version of themselves. The Style Selector’s “Try Before You Trim” technology allows men to see what styles look good on them (with no regrets). It’s free, instant and allows you to save looks you love on your avatar, and access tools and guidance needed to get the look at home. During the Sweepstakes Period, visit www.styleselector.com and create an avatar style for yourself. Then, click on the share button to post your avatar as an in-feed post or story on your Instagram page (collectively, “Post”) with the following hashtags: #WahlStyleSelector and #sweepstakes and tag @wahlgrooming. The Post should not include any other hashtags. The Post and tag must be displayed on your Instagram account within an Entry Period to be eligible for that Entry Period. If you do not have Instagram, an Instagram account is free. The “Photos are Private” option in your Instagram account settings must be set to “OFF” so that your Instagram profile is public and thus viewable by the Sponsor. Each entry must comply with these Official Rules. Limit one entry per person and per Instagram account. Entries received from any person in excess of the limitation will be void if discovered by Sponsor. Multiple, separate entries may be submitted from different individuals residing in the same household. No forms of entry other than as stated in these Official Rules will be accepted. No mechanically or electronically reproduced entries (other than the use of the Style Selector) of any kind are permitted. Illegible and incomplete entries are void. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, mutilated, or misdirected entries or entries not received. If there is a dispute over who submitted an entry, the entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the Instagram account used to enter. The authorized account holder of an Instagram account is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned to an Instagram account by Instagram.

SUBMITTED POSTS: The Post must: be the original creation of the entrant; not portray any recognizable individual, other than the entrant; not contain material that violates or infringes another’s rights, including but not limited to privacy, publicity or intellectual property rights; not portray any dangerous activity; not disparage Sponsor or any other person or party affiliated with the Sweepstakes; not contain inappropriate, indecent, lewd, pornographic, obscene, hateful, tortious, defamatory, or illegal content; not promote bigotry, racism, hatred or harm against any group or individual or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age; and be appropriate for publication or broadcast or display on a general interest website. The avatar must be created in compliance with any rules for the use of Style Selector. Sponsor reserves the right to reject any entry that, in its sole and absolute discretion, is determined not to meet the above specifications. By entering, each entrant represents and warrants that the Post meets all of the submission requirements and that the distribution, reproduction, display, and any other uses of any part of the Post by Sponsor as permitted herein will not infringe any third-party rights. Each entrant further agrees to indemnify and hold Released Parties (defined below) harmless from and against all claims, demands, damages, costs, liabilities and causes of action of whatsoever nature that are based upon or arise out of any breach by such entrant of such warranties or representations made by entrant or of these Official Rules. By entering, entrant grants to Sponsor a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, fully sublicensable, and transferable right and license to use, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works based upon (including, without limitation, translations), publicly display, publicly perform, transmit, and publish the Post (in whole or in part) as Sponsor, in its sole discretion, deems appropriate including, without limitation, (a) in connection with Sponsor’s business; and (b) in connection with the businesses of Sponsor’s successors, parents, subsidiaries, and their related companies, without prior notice, approval, or compensation. Sponsor may exercise this grant in any format, media or technology now known or later developed for the full term of any copyright that may exist in such Post. Entrant otherwise will retain all rights in the Post not granted to Instagram.

WINNER SELECTION: Winners will be selected by random drawing from among all eligible entrants for that Entry Period as outlined in the schedule below. Odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entrants for that Entry Period. Non-winning entries will roll over from one Entry Period to the next. The quality or look of the avatar or Post will play no role in the determination of the winners.

WINNER NOTIFICATION AND VERIFICATION: Sponsor will attempt to notify the potential winners by direct message on Instagram, and potential winner must respond within 48 hours of initial notification attempt with their name, address, phone number, and email. If a potential winner does not respond within 48 hours of initial notification attempt, or if a potential winner is found to be ineligible, declines the prize, or otherwise is not in compliance with these Official Rules, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner may by picked by random drawing from remaining eligible non-winning entries for that Entry Period, or the Sponsor may elect not to designate a winner. Winner may be required to forfeit prize after it is awarded if winner violates any of the agreements signed with Sponsor.

PRIZES: There are five grand prizes (one for each Entry Period). Each grand prize consists of a Wahl® PRO SERIES™ High Visibility Trimmer (approximate retail value [“ARV”] $149.99) and a Wahl® Elite Pro Corded High Performance Hair Clipper (approximate retail value [“ARV”] $69.99. The total ARV of each grand prize is $219.98. The total ARV of all prizes is $1,099.90.

Only the stated number of prizes in these Official Rules will be awarded. All other expenses not specified herein are the responsibility of the winners. If there are an inadequate number of qualified entries to award the prizes or some of the prizes, Sponsor reserves the right to award fewer than the number of prizes stated above.

All federal, state, and/or local taxes (including income taxes), duties, and the like, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner. The winner will be issued an IRS 1099 form for the value of the grand prize, if applicable. No substitution, assignment, redemption for cash, or transfer of any prizes permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if an offered prize becomes unavailable. Actual value of prizes may vary based on consumer electronic industry fluctuations. Winner will not receive difference between actual and approximate retail value. 

Allow eight to 10 weeks for shipment of all prizes. Sponsor not responsible for loss, delay, or damage in delivery. All prize details are at Sponsor’s sole discretion. A prize will be delivered only to a verified winner.

GENERAL: By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and to indemnify and hold harmless Sponsor, Instagram, and their parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, retailers, franchisees, advertising and promotion agencies, judging organization, and any other individual or company involved in the development, promotion, or execution of the Sweepstakes, including Premier Business Solutions, LLC, Hoffman York, and all of their respective officers, employees, directors, representatives and agents (individually and collectively “Releasees”) from all liability, losses, claims, action, or proceedings, losses, all injuries and damages of any kind to person(s), including death or property resulting, in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activities, or violation of intellectual property or personal rights (such as but not limited to, copyright, patent, trade name/trademark, and/or rights of privacy or publicity or portrayal in a false light) due in whole or in part to acceptance, possession, misuse or use of any prize; or participation in this Sweepstakes, or participation in any Sweepstakes-related activity. By claiming a prize, the winners agree to confirm that consent in writing upon request, to Sponsor and those acting pursuant to the authority of Sponsor, the right, in perpetuity, to the use of winner’s name, voice, picture, image and/or likeness at any time(s) and in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide, including on the Internet and World Wide Web, for advertising, commercial, trade and promotional purposes without additional compensation unless prohibited by law, and without notice, review or approval. Sponsor may consider, in its sole discretion, data reasonably available to Sponsor through information technology systems in Sponsor’s control, but Sponsor will not be obligated to consider any data or other information collected from any other source. Any failure by Sponsor to enforce any of these Official Rules will not constitute a waiver of such Official Rules. If there is a conflict between any term of these Official Rules and any marketing or entry materials used in connection with the Sweepstakes, the terms of these Official Rules will govern.

LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: Releasees are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, damaged, inaccurate, stolen, illegible, delayed, misdirected, separated, or non-delivered entries; or for lost, interrupted or unavailable social media, satellite, unavailable network, server, Internet Service Provider, website or other connections availability, accessibility or traffic congestion, or miscommunications, or failed computer, network, telephone, satellite, or cable hardware, software or lines, or technical failure, or jumbled, scrambled, delayed, or misdirected transmissions, or computer hardware or software malfunctions, failures or difficulties, or other errors of any kind whether human, mechanical, electronic or network, including typographical, printing, or the incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry or other information or the failure to capture, or loss of, any such information with the administration of the Sweepstakes, the processing of entries or selection of winners, the announcement of the winners, or in any Sweepstakes-related materials. Releasees are not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by website users, or by any equipment or programming associated with or used in this Sweepstakes, and assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or tampering with or hacking of the entry process or Style Selector page. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual (entrant) it finds to be tampering with the entry process, or operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of the terms of the applicable social media platform or Sweepstakes app or if such entrant shows a disregard for, or attempts to circumvent, these Official Rules; or if such entrant threatens the integrity of the Sweepstakes by posting or otherwise disseminating material on Instagram, or any other social network that is offensive, vulgar, obscene, or defames anyone or any entity; or if such entrant acts: (i) in a manner the Sponsor determines to be not fair or equitable; (ii) in an annoying, threatening, or harassing manner with regard to any other entrant or Sponsor; or (iii) in any other disruptive manner. Releasees are not responsible for injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating in this Sweepstakes or downloading, printing, or copying materials from or use of social media or the Sweepstakes app. If, for any reason, Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned by reason of infection by computer virus, worms, bugs, tampering, hacking, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, social media failure, or any other causes that, in the sole opinion of the Sponsor, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend Sweepstakes. If Sponsor terminates the Sweepstakes, Sponsor will determine winners for the Entry Period in progress as well as any remaining Entry Periods by random drawing from among eligible, non-suspect, non-winning entries that were received prior to action taken, provided Sponsor is able to do so, or as otherwise deemed fair and equitable by Sponsor. If Sponsor terminates, modifies, or suspends the Sweepstakes, Sponsor will post notice at www.styleselector.com and on Sponsor’s Instagram page.

DISPUTES: As a condition of entering, entrants agree (a) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and participant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, consequential, or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses; (b) all causes of action arising out of or related to this Sweepstakes, or any prize awarded, will be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (c) all claims, judgments and award will be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, excluding attorneys' fees and court costs. 

JURISDICTION/CHOICE OF LAW: By entering, entrants agree that this Sweepstakes will be governed by the laws of the State of Illinois and agree to venue and jurisdiction solely in Whiteside County, Illinois for the resolution of all disputes.

WINNERS LIST: To view the winners, log on to www.WahlUSA.com on or about March 15, 2024, and the winners list will remain available for a period of up to sixty days.
