Wahl Reveals Best Facial Hair In the Country
STERLING, Ill. (Jan. 7, 2015) – After traveling to the Most Facial Hair Friendly Cities in America, and scouring through hundreds of contest entries, 12 men ‘made the cut’ as finalists in Wahl’s annual Man of the Year Contest. Pittsburgh was number 20 on the list of facial hair friendly cities, but one of its bearded locals rose to the top in this national facial hair face-off – Conor Barrett prevailed with the coveted title of Wahl Man of the Year. As the next Wahl Man of the Year Barrett wins a $1,000 Grand Prize; in addition, he will reign supreme throughout 2015 and will be featured in a national advertisement.

American Mustache Institute Launches Mustache Hall of Fame
PITTSBURGH, Pa. (October 30, 2014) – The most important physical feature is finally receiving its own Hall of Fame. To celebrate the long-standing rugged attractiveness of the global people of mustache and to combat the discrimination of those who adopt the superior attractiveness of facial hair, the American Mustache Institute today announced plans for the first-ever International Mustache Hall of Fame (MustacheHall.com), sponsored by Wahl Trimmers.

Pro Basketball Preview: Nothing But Hair
STERLING, ILL. (October 23, 2014) – Basketball is a game of statistics, and with the 2014-15 pro season about to tip off, one stat that’s impossible to miss is the sheer number of beards on the court. College students Get Buzzed for good in nation's capital
STERLING, ILL. (October 18, 2014) – More than 100 college students ascended on the National Mall in Washington D.C. today to get buzzed… for good. As the kickoff of a new national fundraising campaign titled GET BUZZED, Wahl Clipper, the leading manufacturer of hair clippers, challenged Kappa Sigma Fraternity and college students from more than four universities around the Nation’s Capital to pick up a clipper and help raise money to support the St. Baldrick’s Foundation and their fight against childhood cancers.

New Ad Campaign From Wahl Offers Guys Healthy Dose of Reality

Real Grooming.” campaign, which began last year with a spotlight on the Clinton LumberKings, minor league baseball players in Iowa who were chasing their dream. Today, Wahl released the Most Facial Hair Friendly Cities in America, which saw Boston top the list thanks in part to the city’s love affair with beards and baseball. These cities have helped perpetuate the ‘growing’ phenomenon that includes 68 percent of men, but only one gentleman will emerge with the best scruff — as in mustache, beard or goatee — to represent the brand as Wahl Man of the Year.
